Charles Kane McNichol, 58, who had two previous intoxication-related arrests, submitted his resignation Monday.
Charles Kane McNichol, 58, submitted his resignation to the Mobile County Board of Commissioners on Monday morning, WKRGMcNichol told the outlet that his resignation was effective Monday and that he no longer works for Mobile County 911.
He had been charged Saturday with driving under the influence and released on $1,000 bond, according to Mobile County Sheriff’s Office records.
