Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin refusal to say whether he’d turn over President Trump’s tax returns means there's probably a long legal fight ahead
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told lawmakers Tuesday that the department's lawyers had talked with the White House about an effort by Democrats to obtain President Donald Trump's tax returns, but that he hadn't discussed the matter with Trump personally.
Mnuchin later indicated to reporters that the administration would have some kind of response to Neal's letter by Wednesday.
