Mmusi Maimane has the last laugh as his party, Bosa, surpasses IEC signature requirement
Build One SA leader Mmusi Maimane outside the IEC head offices in Centurion on Thursday, 7 March 2024, to deliver his party's nominated candidate list before the 2024 general elections, leader of the Build One SA party, sent out a press release on Wednesday saying he was going to make an announcement about the party's future, many assumed he would say he had failed to obtain the necessary signatures.
Maimane expressed confidence in his party's strength, noting that its volunteers were actively campaigning across the country. He said that following their call for candidates to run for office under the Bosa banner, the party has received hundreds of applications, ultimately approving 120.This group has the right blend of skills, experience, diversity and passion to serve the people of South Africa with aplomb in legislatures across the country. We will be submitting 19 lists to the IEC, one national to national, nine regional to national and nine regional to regional.
