The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Wednesday said the installation of motorcycle lane markings along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City will be finished by mid-February.
At the public briefing, MMDA chairperson Romando Artes said they want to complete first the installation of markings and road signages before the implementation of the motorcycle lanes.
"We don't want to start it na hindi kumpleto itong mga road signages natin at 'yung lane markings para walang excuse yung mga motorista na mag-violate ng exclusive lanes na mga ito," he added.will reduce road accidents and improve the flow of vehiclesArtes said they are still studying designating exclusive motorcycle lanes on some major roads in Metro Manila, including EDSA and Roxas Boulevard.
