MLB The Show 22 will have an open and free tech test on Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch that allows fans to play the game early.
A tech test has been announced for MLB The Show 22 and it'll give fans a chance to play the game a bit early on all platforms. MLB The Show usually holds an annual tech test ahead of the game's release to work out any technical kinks and give fans a chance to experience some of the new improvements ahead of launch.
At the end of January, MLB The Show 22 was revealed with Shohei Ohtani as the cover star. This reveal also coincided with the announcement of the series' first-ever entry on Nintendo Switch. Although it won't be nearly as powerful or easy on the eyes as the Xbox Series X/S or PS5 versions, it's still a great opportunity for players to be able to take the game on the go.

Sony has spent years honing in on what makes a good baseball experience and now, fans will be able to experience that wherever they please.
