MLB commissioner Rob Manfred said Monday that the league's testing protocols are working despite the Miami Marlins' COVID-19 outbreak.

"This is one of the things that could put a halt in the progression of where you're going through the season," Dr. Anthony Fauci told CNN on Monday. "Hopefully, they'll be able to continue and hopefully this is an outlier that such a cluster of the players and personnel got infected." If the situation should escalate, Manfred was asked by MLB Network's Tom Verducci what it might take to shut down the team -- or the season -- for good.
