A mixed-race couple in Arizona filed a lawsuit against American Airlines after a flight crew detained them based on a passenger's unfounded claim that the husband was sex trafficking his wife. The couple, Anthony Williams and Katsiaryna Shasholka, allege that the airline's actions caused them significant emotional distress and they are seeking justice for the racial discrimination they experienced.
