Thunderstorms, potential flooding and fine sunshine are variably smattered across Australia for the Easter long weekend.
With the last of Tropical Cyclone Megan moving south and east from the Northern Territory, storms and rainfall are expected in the region.The city can expect highs of 27 degrees and 28 degrees from Saturday to Monday.Despite not quite reaching the heat of Sydney, Melbourne will still experience warm days with maximum temperatures of 24 and 25 degrees.However, by Monday the city will be awash with rain that is set to last for several days.
Temperatures are set to peak at about 27 degrees until Monday, but downpours are expected around the state with 14 flood warnings in place for various locations.Adelaide is anticipating bright sunshine and warmth for the Easter weekend, with a sunny top of 30 forecast for Sunday.Brisbane will experience rain this weekend. Nevertheless the heat will persist, creating a muggy weekend up north with maximum temperatures of about 32 degrees.
