EastGroup Properties is building three warehouses in the Basswood 35 business park in North Fort Worth.
Developers have started construction on the second phase of a North Fort Worth business park.The 61.5-acre development is a project ofSeven buildings in all are planned in the development with more than 880,000 square feet.
“After seeing the success of 100% pre-leased phase one, we are anticipating a similar outcome due to the park’s sought-after location, with great I-35 visibility and access, along with an amazing tenant mix from the initial phase,” David Hicks, Vice President of EastGroup, said in a statement. The two-building first phase of Basswood 35 business park was fully leased to four tenants before completion.Method Architects designed the warehouses and Talley Riggins is the general contractor. The buildings are set to open at the end of the year.
“D-FW’s industrial market is thriving, and the lack of available, suitable space makes Basswood a highly desirable project,” Todd Hubbard with NAI Robert Lynn said. “We are pleased to partner with EastGroup as they continue to grow in the area, creating in-demand industrial facilities that are creating jobs and bolstering the area’s economy.”
Developer EastGroup is a Mississippi-based company that focuses on properties in Florida, Texas, Arizona, California and North Carolina.North Fort Worth is one of the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s fastest growing industrial markets with about 9.5 million square feet of buildings under construction.
