San Antonio Missions cancel weekend games following positive COVID-19 tests

Saturday’s game was called off about an hour before the scheduled 7:05 p.m. first pitch, and the club announced just after 9 p.m. that Sunday’s game also will not be played. The Missions’ announcement said the change will “allow for additional tracing and testing,” and Sunday’s game will not be rescheduled.

“The Missions regret having to cancel Sunday’s game, but the safety of our players, coaches and fans is of utmost importance for our organization and Minor League Baseball,” the team said in a [email protected]
