The Mission: Impossible 8 posters have dropped, featuring the returning characters who will be joining Tom Cruise in the new sequel.
“Our lives are the sum of our choices. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” teases the brief synopsis. The movie is currently slated to arrive in theaters on May 23, 2025, pitting it directly against Disney’s live-actionThe character posters feature most of its main cast, including Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Nick Offerman, Hannah Waddingham, Tramell Tillman, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Rolf Saxon, Lucy Tulugarjuk and Angela Bassett.
The sequel will also feature Mariela Garriga, Holt McCallany, Janet McTeer, Charles Parnell, and Mark Gatiss. Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is directed by Christopher McQuarrie, who co-wrote the screenplay with Erik Jendresen. The film is produced by McQuarrie and Cruise, with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Chris Brock as executive producers. It is a production by Paramount Pictures and Skydance. At the moment, it’s still unclear if The Final Reckoning would be the franchise’s last installment or not. During Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning’s theatrical run, the film wasn’t able to live up to the box office expectations due to tough competition with Barbie and Oppenheimer.
