The thriller follows Detective Kat Donovan (Eleazar), who, after discovering her missing ex-fiancé Josh Buchanan (Ashley Walters) on a dating app, enters a maze of lies and secrets tied to the unresolved murder of her father, Clint (Henry).

She understood how much this man loved her father and how much her father loved him. But in that moment, it was so hard. The truth about Clint’s death unravels when Kat confronts her superior, DCI Ellis Stagger (Richard Armitage), who reveals that he orchestrated a false confession to shield Kat and her mother from the harsh reality of Clint’s work for the crime boss Calligan (James Nesbitt).
