The mother of a missing San Antonio area real estate agent said her daughter told her that her husband had beaten her, according to TV reports. She wanted to help her daughter find a way out, but never got the chance. Her comments amplify what an arrest affidavit detail about an incident that occurred hours before she vanished a week ago. Both an eyewitness and her young daughter told authorities they saw Brad Chandler Simpson attack his wife, Suzanne Simpson.
