A stolen plush banana, a police impersonation and more were some of the calls for service RCMP responded to at Country Thunder this weekend.

Calls to the music festival grounds in Craven were made between Wednesday and Monday and resulted in 18 charges laid, said an RCMP news release issued Monday afternoon.

Calls included four reports of assault, 29 disturbing the piece/causing a disturbance, three mental health calls, including an individual at/in the creek, one animal-related call for a dog left in a crate outdoors in hot weather, and one case of identity fraud when someone provided a false name during a drug investigation.

Tickets included 13 speeding violations, four failures to wear a seatbelt and two failures to stop at a stop sign, six unregistered vehicles and three instances of driving while holding an electronic communication device.
