The Travis County Sheriff's Office says the body of a missing man was recovered from Lake Travis Wednesday morning.
The incident began Tuesday at around 9 p.m., when TCSO responded to the scene to an Assist EMS call near Starnes Island after a witness stated a man in his 30s was last seen in the water but he did not resurface. The area where the man was last seen was searched by EMS, Lake Travis Fire & Rescue, Jonestown PD and TCSO Lake Patrol.His body was found and recovered at around 10:30 a.m.
