Bren Orton, from Warrington, went missing in May
Kayaker Bren Orton, 29, disappeared on May 16 while on a trip to Lake Maggiore, which straddles Switzerland and Italy. His body was found in the lake on Thursday after a two-week search.
Bren, who was from Warrington, was an ambassador for Runcorn-based Pyranha Kayaks. The firm said in a statement yesterday: "It is with immense sadness that we announce that our friend and ambassador Bren Orton is no longer with us.
