Local Idaho law enforcement have released a new photo of a runaway they have been searching for since Jan. 1.

MONTEVIEW, Idaho —

The new photo of 16-year-old Elintra Fischer shows her in dark clothing, her hair pulled back and a cat in her arms. "This is very much an active case, and we are again requesting help from the public in locating Elintra," the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Wednesday.Elintra left her Monteview home in her mother's car. However, the vehicle — a gray 2015 Honda Civic — was found at a gas station in McCammon in January. The sheriff's office believes she may be in Utah. Deputies have been working with Utah law enforcement to find her.

Roundy was a member of the FLDS Church until 2020. The concerned mother is worried church leaders may force her 16-year-old to marry an older man.Elintra is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 135 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. If you have any information, contact the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office at 208-745-9210 ext. 7, or contact your local law enforcement office.
