Patrick Alan Monroe, who speaks with an American accent, has not been seen since last Thursday.
A missing hillwalker in Scotland reached three mountain summits before vanishing almost a week ago, police have revealed.
Patrick Alan Monroe, 33, set off from Tyndrum Holiday Park - formerly Pine Trees Caravan Park - in Stirling on the morning of Thursday 6 April.enquiries so far have established that Mr Monroe, who speaks with an American accent, reached the summit of Ben Oss at around 1.15pm. He then went on to conquer Ben Lui at around 3pm, before walking along the ridge to Beinn a' Chleibh an hour later.He may have retraced his steps along the ridge back to Ben Lui or he could have taken a different route to the A85 and on towards Tyndrum.
Inspector David Ryan said:"Our efforts to trace Patrick are continuing and we know he reached three summits on the day he was last seen.
