The search for a missing Alexander City woman has come to an end with the recovery of her body, according to law enforcement in Tallapoosa County.

Nearly two weeks passed before a break in the case. Davis’ vehicle was recovered Wednesday evening in a wooded area off North Loop Road in Dadeville. At that time, investigators said she was still considered missing and the search was ongoing.
