KUALA LUMPUR: Joshua Hilmy, who has been missing since November 2016, had plans to leave the country after receiving threats, a Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) inquiry into his disappearance heard on Tuesday (March 3).
However, witness Selvakumar Peace John Harris who was testifying for the second day said the missing activist was unable to do so because of documentation problems."He was trying to do it but he couldn't get a visa or something like that," Selvakumar said on Tuesday .
The inquiry was also shown Joshua's Facebook posts of him baptising people which Selvakumar had provided, some of which dating back to 2011.
