While Pia Wurtzbach is best known for taking home the Miss Universe title in 2015, her journey towards the crown was greatly influenced by her time in the prestigious Binibining Pilipinas pageant.
A decade after her first appearance in the competition, the beauty queen returned to grace its stage for the pageant’s 60th anniversary as one of the members of the selection committee, taking the time to reminisce over old memories. In her Instagram post, Wurtzbach shared various photos of the warm welcome she received from Novotel Manila Araneta City and the Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc.
“Back where it all began, and it’s truly surreal that 10 years have passed. The first time I set foot at Araneta was during the 50th anniversary and it was unforgettable. It changed my life forever,” said the beauty queen.
