The title of Miss New Jersey begins with the first preliminary night at Resorts Casino Hotel.
Dressed in matching black dresses and red heels the candidates waved to the crowd and introduced themselves before heading off the stage.
“It’s been a phenomenal year,” Sullivan told the crowd during a break. “I think in all the years I competed to become Miss New Jersey I never thought about preparing for what it would feel like when it ended. And it’s the best job in the world.” “I would regret for the rest of my life if I never ran over there and just said hello to the governor.”
The winners of the night were Miss Shore Resort Isabelle Nicholas for her vocal talent. Miss Cape May County Region Amy Phillips and Miss Central Jersey Grace Mozitis tied for the onstage interview and social impact pitch.
