Miriam has since confessed she is scared of dying from coronavirus
The controversial star recently appeared on the Channel 4 show via video call where she addressed the PM’s fight againstAfter branding the government ‘appalling’ for how they’ve handled the pandemic, she told host Adam Hills: ‘I had difficulty not wanting Boris Johnson to die.
‘But we also considered the audience’s likely expectations of Miriam Margolyes, a comic actor known for her forthright views, and of this live, late-night satirical comedy show. ‘I get my pleasures from contact with people, that is what I enjoy and when I’m cut off from people as I have to be at the moment, I don’t do very well.
The Harry Potter actress added: ‘It is unprecedented for all of us of course, and I’m disappointed in myself to be so wimpy about things.
