Before he scored his first NHL goal on Sunday — in a game that pulled the Stars even with the Wild with 67 points — Tufte was back home. At the practice rink, there is a wooden map of Minnesota with pucks for various teams. Tufte picked out his high school Blaine.
“I’m just glad we won the game and didn’t blow that lead,” Robertson said. “At the end of the day, it’s pretty neat. “It’s unbelievable,” Oettinger said. “He’s just such a good guy. Obviously, the same thing as me, just a ton of family and stuff. For him to get his first goal here, you can’t write that up any better. I’m so happy for him and couldn’t happen to a better guy.”
