Ministry to introduce fixed-line internet package for B40
Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil says his ministry is working on a fixed-line internet Unity Package for the B40 group. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, January 31, 2023.
Speaking at the monthly gathering of the Communications and Digital Ministry in Putrajaya today, he said its secretary-general Mohammad Mentek had been directed to hold negotiations with the relevant parties concerning the package. Fahmi had previously unveiled the portable internet prepaid Unity Package data plan which costs two times lower at RM5 per month but is three times faster, scheduled to hit the market in February.
