Ministry orders large gatherings at schools postponed

THE Education Ministry has directed the postponement of all large gatherings, such as sports programmes and co-curricular activities, at schools nationwide effective today. This follows the Health Ministry’s call for mass gatherings to be suspended so as to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
