The new train station in North Belfast is expected to open at the end of this month

The Infrastructure Minister has detailed plans to improve the appearance of the area around a new train station in Belfast.

Responding to Mr Brett's question, Mr O'Dowd detailed his Department's plans for improving the underpass and aspects of further public realm work at the new station, which is due to open at the end of this month with public realm to be completed in the autumn. "Work to remove offensive graffiti and litter is also currently being undertaken and a proposal from a community group to install artwork in the underpass is also under consideration."
