Millwall are interested in hiring Kevin Muscat as their new manager, but if talks fail, they may consider Michael Beale, according to reports.

Michael Beale could return to management with Millwall - but they are pushing the boat out for former Rangers candidate Kevin Muscat, according to a report.

Muscat is also said to have been offered a new deal by his current J-League side and could take some persuading to take his next step in England's second tier. He was a leading contender in Rangers' managerial hunt after Beale's sacking but the club decided to go with Philippe Clement - who has started with a big win over Hibs and Europa League draw on the road at Sparta Prague in his two games as manager so far.
