The Stranger Things star spoke of the 'pain and insecurity' it has caused
'There are moments I get frustrated from the inaccuracy, inappropriate comments, sexualisation and unnecessary insults that ultimately have resulted in pain and insecurity for me,' the star wrote.
Defiantly, the UNICEF goodwill ambassador wrote that she 'won't be defeated' by this intrusion and will 'continue doing what I love and spreading the message in order to make change'. As well as being wished Happy Birthday, Brown was supported by friends also in the public eye who could understand the unique situation of fame, which has resulted in her success on the Netflix show.
The post comes a couple of days after Brown hosted a sweet sixteen birthday bash to celebrate which was attended by famous friends including Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix.
