It looked so real 😱

with a buzzcut that became the character's signature look. As the show progressed, Eleven integrated with the Hawkins crew and ultimately grew her hair out., the latest season of the show sees Eleven back on the buzz once again.

since it premiered, shared the secrets behind the faux buzz they created for Mille in a series of recent Instagram posts. According to Sarah, MBB's wig forrequired a time-consuming process, with three artists working to attach it to Millie's head. Sarah broke down the entire process explaining that, firstly, the team made sure to wrap Millie's hair tightly so the closely buzzed wig didn't look bulky or awkward. "The most important is a tight wrap of her own hair so her head shape is as natural as possible with no bulk. For that we wetted her hair down and slicked it with a gel tight to her head placing her hair in a flattering manner," she wrote.

Next, artist Rob Pickens sewed in silk pieces to make the wrap look like skin, as you'd see the scalp through the hair. Beauty journalisttalked to Sarah about the process, noting that the whole thing took about 30 minutes from start to finish and there were three different wigs used with slightly different hair lengths.

"I cut the wig down short, comb over scissors, after that, I buzzed it on an open 3/5 guard," Sarah shared in another post on her Instagram. "This is by far the hardest wig challenge I have ever been given." Clearly, she and her team knocked it out of the park, as the wig looksnatural and realistic.
