A new survey reveals the home design trends millennials are most likely to reject, with animal print taking the top spot. The study by Talker Research also found that millennials dislike word art and monograms. However, preferences varied within the generation, with some favoring farmhouse chic and midcentury modern.

The home design trends that millennials are most likely to reject have been revealed, with animal print their least favorite.The study, conducted by Talker Research on behalf of Realty ONE Group, asked 2,000 Americans about their decor opinions and discovered the trends that each generation likes and dislikes.There are a number of features and styles that millennials are not fans of, but they are most sick of animal print—44 percent of this age group liked it least, according to the study.

Farmhouse chic was their second most-liked trend followed by midcentury modern in third. Other features that appeared on the list of favorites included vertical blinds, Tuscan kitchens, Tiffany lamps, tiled countertops and pine furniture.Interestingly, some millennials wanted to give up a signature style for their generation, known as 'millennial gray.
