The music at most restaurants does not need to be as loud as a club. I’d like to be able to have a conversation. There are no more house parties. Everyone is over-planned with activities and social gatherings booked months in advance that there is no room for the casual house hang and unexpected party. I miss the days where like 1 or 2 things would go super viral every now and then and it would stay relevant for more than just a few days.
I hate when every single electronic device stops working right after its warranty is over. TVs last 5 years, refrigerators die after 4-5… They used to last forever. Why do I have to add “reddit” to the end of EVERYTHING to get answers written by a human to a question? The internet was more fun when everyone wasn't on it. Why are there 30-35 minutes of previews and promos at the movie theater?! Show me three, 3-minute previews and get on with the show! People should be wearing heels in the club. We want to channel surf. We want 22 episode TV seasons. We want to watch Die Hard 20 minutes after it started. Choosing a Friday movie isn’t as romantic anymore. Driving to Blockbuster, perusing the aisles holding hands for ONE movie you both agree on. Movie runtimes are too bloated. I pay for an experience and not a dollar-per-minute ratio. A solid 90-minute movie is better than a 90-minute movie stretched to 2 hours just because that’s the fashionable length right now. People need to stop wearing pajamas out in public: We need to stop the wearing PJs or what looks like PJs out of the house trend before we lose all self-respect. There are too many series that should just be movies. Microsoft Office used to be FREE with the PC: Why do I have to pay for Microsoft office as a subscription when it used to automatically be installed on new PCs.
