After three decades, Sen. Dan Sullivan has retired from the U.S. Marine Corps.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - On Feb. 1., Sen. Dan Sullivan retired from a three decade long career in the United States Marine Corp.
His service in the marines lasted just over 30 years spanning from 1993 to 2024. While in the military, Sullivan served in the Marines infantry, reconnaissance and intelligence and he would eventually switch from active duty to the reserves while serving in public office. Taiwan was also the focus of his final assignment while serving as the Chief of Staff for the Marine Forces Pacific Command.
