For the front row—found at a disused platform of the Bowery stop on the J/Z line—Cyrus honored a 1999-era Pamela Anderson, topping her piece-y waves with a fuzzy black brimmed hat worn at an angle just jaunty enough to reveal her cut of fringe. Black aviators, a nude lip, and a plunging neckline punctuated by a duet of chains finished the fall-ready moment, which felt like a hard lean into Cyrus's emerging identity as a pop start with a penchant for rock and roll.
