Miley Cyrus, Shakira, J Balvin, Justin Bieber and many more will perform at this weekend's all-star concert

"This moment requires all of us to act. As Global Citizens, we're calling on leaders around the world to combat the disproportionate impact COVID-19 has on marginalized communities by committing funds to develop and deliver tests, treatments, and therapeutics," Cyrus, who is also scheduled to appear during the summit portion, said in a statement.

"Global Citizens around the world are calling on world leaders to help bring an end to COVID-19 by urging them to commit the billions of dollars needed to deliver testing, treatments and vaccines to everyone, everywhere,” Shakira added."We need health equity and global justice, and we know that only by uniting to fight for the world we want can we build back toward a healthier future for all.

The summit and concert will work to encourage governments, the private sector and philanthropists to make commitments to more equally distribute COVID-19 tests and vaccines. The concert will air globally as well as stream digitally on Saturday. In the United States, it will air on NBC and iHeartMedia. It will stream on Apple, Roku, Tidal, Twitter, Twitch, YouTube and other platforms. Check local listings for start times. For more information, visit
