That 70s Show alum Mila Kunis teased Jackie's child in upcoming sequel series That 90s Show. 'This kid’s too old to be my kid, OK, y’all? I just want that to be very clear. I was a child bride!'
Mila Kunis previews the return of Jackie Burkhart in That '90s Show. Hailing from the team of Bonnie and Terry Turner, who created the original That '70s Show, the spinoff will take begin in the summer of 1995 and follow Leia Forman as she spends the summer with her grandparents in Wisconsin.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY With a planned debut on Netflix, That '90s Show will see Leia forming friendships with a group of teenagers going on own their own adventures. But That '90s Show is also deeply connected to the original. Leia is the daughter of Eric and Donna, the main couple of That '70s Show, and both Kitty and Red are confirmed to be main characters - and they're not the only ones. Kunis, who played the scene-stealing Jackie, will appear in the upcoming spinoff.
“This kid’s too old to be my kid, OK, y’all? I just want that to be very clear. I was a child bride! … It is very good. It’s great in fact, and I think that anyone that’s ever watched ’70s, that was a fan, I think will be very, very, very, very, happy with the inciting incident of the whole series.”
Who Else Is Returning For That '90s Show? Along with Rupp and Smith as series regulars and Kunis as a guest star, That '90s Show will see several actors reprising their old roles. Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Ashton Kutcher, and Wilmer Valderrama will all make appearances in the spinoff, as will Tommy Chong, who made a memorable impression on That '70s Show as Leo. One former main cast member of the original, Danny Masterson, will not be part of the Netflix sequel show.
Although more details remain about That '90s Show, Grace did mention that Eric Forman only appears in only one episode. Given that he plays Eric, the son of Red and Kitty and the father of Leia, that might mean other cast members also show up only briefly. Still, all the returning stars have echoed the sentiment that the spinoff will be special for fans. Hopefully, the writers find a way to make their special appearances count.
