Mike McCarthy said he trusts the Cowboys' 2023 draft grade for Jonathan Mingo, despite his poor performance for the Carolina Panthers so far.

The club sent a fourth round pick to Carolina, and got Mingo and a seventh in return, for what they thought of him coming out of Mississippi.
He began this season as a starter before losing his spot. Mingo comes to Dallas with 12 catches for 121 yards, with only one catch for one yard in his last four games.“Everyone has opinions and so forth,’’ McCarthy said. “There has been a lot of change there. Three systems in three years, so you factor that in.
