The group of migrants continued celebrating as they darted across the desert sand toward the border wall, which did little to prevent their entry into the US. One man is seen clapping and pumping his arms in the air in celebration, while a woman puts her hands on her chest and smiles in relief. Officers were also seen in the footage using their pickup trucks to kick dust up along the razor wire to further dissuade migrants from crawling beneath it.
