Kiggans's victory grants a crucial win to Republicans, winning back a House seat that Luria flipped blue in 2018 amid Democrats’ blue wave during that year’s midterm elections.The Republican candidate bested incumbent Luria after polls showed a statistical tie just two weeks before Election Day.
The race was particularly competitive after redistricting gave Republicans a 1-point advantage in the district.
