A Midfield man has been arrested on murder and other charges in the fatal shooting of another Alabama man at a Walmart in Rhode Island, police said. Shawn Eric Slaughter, 56, of Midfield, is charged in the murder of Eric Campbell, 51, of Jackson’s Gap, early Saturday morning at the Walmart on Silver Spring Street in Providence, police said.
