Commitment Day: July 4
Other than December, July has become the hottest month in the recruiting calendar for commitments to fly off the board. Prospects wrap up their official visits in late June and often have a fairly quick turnaround to making a decision.
There are family connections to Austin, so Texas has every reason to win this recruitment, but Oregon is swinging hard.. At one time, it seemed each of the Kansas schools had some buzz around Cooper, but as time as gone, it is SMU that seems to be in the best spot. LSU was once seen as a heavy favorite, and Oregon has had their fair share, but if I had to put a prediction on it, I would lean towards Oklahoma right now for the Little Rock stud defensive back.What has become one of the most intriguing recruitments in the 2025 cycle, there is some uncertainty which direction the No. 1 ranked inside linebacker will go on Saturday. Texas has long been the majority favorite and there has really been no question about that.
