The all-in-one app may combine messaging, web search, shopping, news feeds, gaming and more 👀 Microsoft TechNave
Microsoft is reportedly working on a ‘super app’ that can dethrone both Google and Apple in the mobile search space. An all-in-one app that combines messaging, web search, shopping, news feeds and more, the concept is similar to how dominant WeChat is in China.
As reported by The Information, this is part of the solutions that the company came up with in order to increase its advertising business and Bing search. As a single platform for most personal daily needs, the Microsoft super app would have more users and with it, an increase in mobile advertising opportunities.
Besides that, this all-in-one platform will also enable Microsoft to entice customers to its other revenue-generating products such as Microsoft 365. Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet. What do you guys think?
