"As Microsoft continues to focus on building AI and machine learning offerings, integrating GPT could give Microsoft a competitive edge," the internal report said."Some online expect a big year for Bing and were delighted by the 'Incredible additions to search.'"Not all responses were positive. Most notably, some people were worried about ChatGPT's lack of fact-checking and the, a bigger concern for use in educational environments.

Still, ChatGPT's"humanlike" responses were seen as a major appeal and an improvement from the current search engine's lists of links, it said. The report added Microsoft can"double down on the verification of results accuracy" and should consider how this new technology"will be used by both professionals and students to complete tasks."
