The monthly subscription price for the Microsoft 365 Family plan will be changing from RM36 to RM45, starting 1 July 2024.
If you're a subscriber to the Microsoft 365 productivity suite, which is essentially all the Office tools, but online, you may have gotten an email informing you of an imminent price hike. More specifically, it's a price increase for the monthly subscription for the Family plan.
Amanz reports that the email notes the price increase taking effect starting 1 July of this year, going from RM36 a month to RM45. Included in the report is a screenshot of the email, which says that the price hike is in response to 'changing market conditions'. It also says that the change in price will allow the company to 'maintain the high levels of service and product quality that you expect from us'.
On that note, the change is not yet reflected on the official Microsoft 365 subscription page. Chances are the company will update the listed prices as we get closer to the aforementioned 1 July date.
