Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel's friendship is more than F1.

Amazingly, we also had an interview scheduled with Mick this morning for our upcoming Motorsports Issue. Here's what he had to say about his friend leaving F1:

I see he just joined Instagram and obviously shared a message there. He sent me a message earlier today saying that he would retire. And obviously I’m a bit sad on one side, but I understand him and I see him also in his private environment and I just know how much he enjoys being at home and being with his family. I really wish him only the best. I know he still has a lot that he wants to achieve and lots that he feels like he wants to do. And I support him and in all of that for sure.

If you were at all worried these two would stop being pals once Vettel left, don't worry. This one goes deeper than racing.
