Los Angeles Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz orchestrated a Michigan reunion when the team claimed running back Hassan Haskins off waivers on Wednesday.
Haskins was a fourth-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft. He was waived by the Tennessee Titans on Tuesday. The run game was a struggled throughout the 2023 season and was one of the biggest weaknesses for the Chargers. Adding Haskins adds depth to the running back room. The 24-year-old played for Harbaugh from 2018-2021. Haskins posted 2,324 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns throughout his time in Ann Arbor.Harbaugh knows how Haskins can make an impact for the Chargers this season.Harbaugh said
