Connor Stalions, a Michigan native and longtime superfan, has been named a “person of interest” in the investigation, according to ESPN.

“I do not condone or tolerate anyone doing anything illegal or against NCAA rules,” Harbaugh continued. “No matter what program or organization that I have led throughout my career, my instructions and awareness of how we scout opponents have always been firmly within the rules.”Big Ten football Week 8 betting odds, picks, schedule and TV/streaming infoThe question now is whether Stalions — or anyone else in official capacity with the Michigan program — violated NCAA rules.
“He quickly befriended the assistant coaches and gained their trust because he was willing to do any work,” according a January 2022on Stalions. He even went as far as purchasing a home near Detroit Metro Airport and renting out two bedrooms on Airbnb to help pay for his trips from California’s Camp Pendleton to Ann Arbor to volunteer.
This investigation comes in the middle of a separate NCAA investigation into the Michigan football program over several Level II violations, including impermissible recruiting during the pandemic dead period, using a separate, now-departed analyst as a coach during practices, and watching team workouts on video.
