Yeoh has been a star going back to her early days as a Hong Kong action-film headliner, but only recently has Hollywood been recognizing her undeniable talent and range. After strong turns in “Star Trek: Discovery” and “Crazy Rich Asians” and a powerful performance in the 2021 Marvel film “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” Yeoh scored what has been described as the best role of her career in the mindbending A24 film “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” from duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, aka Daniels.
She earned rave reviews for her performance, and the film became the company’s first to gross over $100 million worldwide, only to be topped by Yeoh garnering Oscar buzz aplenty, a sure sign of a busy awards season ahead. THE WITCHER: BLOOD ORIGIN
