The Michelle Obama Podcast, the former First lady revealed that – despite their 'power couple' status, after nearly 30 years of marriage – the pair have faced their fair share of romantic difficulties, just like everybody else.
'You’ve got to know that there are going to be long periods of time when you can’t stand each other. I said it on the book tour as a joke – there were times that I wanted to push Barack out of the window. But, on the occasion of her 28th wedding anniversary with Barack Obama, Michelle had only heartwarming things to say about her husband. Sharing a photo of herself and her husband posing in what appears to be a restaurant, Michelle spoke of her love for her partner, writing: '28 years with this one. I love @BarackObama for his smile, his character, and his compassion. So grateful to have him as a partner through everything life throws at us. And this year, we have a request for you — pick one person in your life who might not vote and make sure they do. Tell us about it in the comments! That’s an anniversary message of the best kind.
