'Alam ko na ‘yung kasunod na question diyan is if sasali na ako. The answer is, if I want to, yes. Can I? We’ll see,” saad ni Michelle Dee, nang tanungin kung may plano siyang sumali ulit sa mga beauty pageant.
Sa panayam sa kaniya ng Kapuso Showbiz News, inilahad ni Michelle ang kaniyang hugot sa kaniyang “#deepatapos.”
“Ever since my pageant journey, actually ‘yung hashtag ko has always started with #deepatapos. Kaya naging #deepatapos, sinarado ko roon because I think I wanted to portray a lot of different things. One is, my desire to join if I can. And two, I wanted to use it to do some good sana also because umingay siya,” saad ni Michelle.
Binanggit ni Michelle ang mga natanggap na pagpuna ng pamunuan ng Miss Universe dahil sa naging resulta ng pageant, kung saan kinoronahan ang Filipino-American na si R'Bonney Gabriel bilang Miss Universe 2022. “And I did want to take the opportunity to change the narrative and focus on the good,” sabi ni Michelle.at nirepresenta ang Makati. Wagi siya ng anim na awards, kabilang ang Miss Kumuniverse title nang makakuha ng pinakamataas na bilang ng diamonds mula sa users ng app.
“Pageantry kasi it’s really a platform to voice out ‘yung concerns mo or the things that you want to advocate for. And for me I’ve always wanted to use it for positivity,” sabi ni Michelle.“Alam ko na ‘yung kasunod na question diyan is if sasali na ako. The answer is, if I want to, yes. Can I? We’ll see,” saad niya.
